Eyes on the Planet: Focus on the first EssilorLuxottica Sustainability Week

Reinforcing its company-wide commitment to sustainability, EssilorLuxottica recently hosted its first virtual Sustainability Week, which took place from April 19 to 22, leading up to Earth Day. A series of virtual classrooms and live streams on sustainability were featured on the Group’s open learning platform, Leonardo, to update employees and customers on its Eyes on the Planet CSR program.

Strongly resonating with this year’s Earth Day theme to #InvestInOurPlanet, EssilorLuxottica’s first Sustainability Week was a deep dive on the Company’s approach to environmental sustainability. It served as a platform for discussion on how sustainability has been transforming the way people live and work, with virtual classrooms on customer trends, the creation of sustainable eyewear as well as green approach for stores. The virtual event was well received with attendees from 23 countries expressing their keen interest in learning about the Company’s actions and commitments as a global industry leader.
