Hosted between Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, the Milano Cortina 2026 Games brings together more than 3,500 athletes from 93 nations, competing for 195 medals in 16 Olympic disciplines and six Paralympic sports. The Winter Olympic Games is held from February 6 to 22, 2026, followed by the Winter Paralympic Games from March 6 to 15.

Celebrating performance on a global stage

The latest edition of the Games will feature 16 winter Olympic sports disciplines — including alpine skiing, biathlon, figure skating, ice hockey, and, for the first time, ski mountaineering. Competitions will take place in 15 prestigious venues, from the Milan Ice Skating Arena to the Cortina Sliding Centre, to the iconic slopes of the Tofane. Events will also be held in San Siro, Livigno, Anterselva, Tesero, Predazzo, Verona, and other internationally significant locations.
