Ray‑Ban and Meta introduce Ray‑Ban Stories, next generation smart glasses

The highly anticipated collaboration brings forward a new way to enable consumers capture, share, and listen through their most authentic moments.

Sharing a passion for creating products and experiences that enhance millions of lives every day, Meta (formerly Facebook) and EssilorLuxottica were able to engineer wearable smart technology, without compromising style, comfort, and aesthetic, but most of all the weight, with just 5gr more than a standard pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer.

Ray-Ban Stories include a dual integrated 5MP camera to capture photo and video; discreet open-ear speakers to listen, and a three-microphone audio array to deliver rich voice and sound transmission for calls and videos. Ray-Ban Stories is also available in a variety of other iconic styles such as the legendary, retro Round and the iconic Meteor. Consumers can add flare to their style by choosing various lenses: sun, prescription, polarized, gradient, Transitions and clear. Ray-Ban Stories is currently available at Ray-Ban stores and Ray-Ban.com in the US, UK, Italy, Australia, Ireland and Canada, and at select Luxottica retail banners including SunglassHut, LensCrafters, OPSM, David Clulow and Salmoiraghi & Viganò. A sequential rollout is being planned for next year in other markets.

Following the Ray-Ban Authentic project, the creation of Ray-Ban Stories is another key milestone for EssilorLuxottica as a unified Company.
