Gift of Great Vision Transforms Over 320,000 Lives

Since its inception in 2021, the Gift of Great Vision initiative, a collaboration between KODAK Lenses and the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, has illuminated the lives of countless individuals across the globe.  



The Gift of Great Vision embodies the essence of giving, demonstrating that every purchase can have a profound impact. For every pair of KODAK Lenses sold, a pair of eyeglasses is donated, or an eye exam is provided to a beneficiary through the Foundation’s programs. For instance, the program in China resulted in approximately 20,000 people receiving eye exams across four years. Since its launch in 2021, 321,726 beneficiaries worldwide have received essential vision care transforming lives in settings as diverse as the rural villages of Yunnan, China, and the vibrant crowds of the Amazonas Festival in Brazil. The largest number of beneficiaries have been coming from Malaysia since the start of the initiative. 



Since 2013, through the work of the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation and its partners, the Group has equipped more than 94 million people in underserved regions with eyeglasses.

The campaign celebrates life’s fleeting moments—each unique and irreplaceable, and KODAK Lenses encourages individuals to capture memories with unmatched clarity, while reminding us to embrace the beauty of our surroundings. Whether it comes to witnessing one’s child being born or enjoying a stunning view of the mountains, the brand aims to ensure these moments are cherished forever.
