The Sound of Prada celebration in Berlin
The Sound of Prada Berlin offered guests an exclusive and immersive event, with a strong focus on engaging people in a way never done before — through a multisensory journey that brought the eyewear category to the forefront of the brand’s signature musical concept.
Hosted at Kranzler Eck, a historic café located on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district that has been a hub of the city’s social and cultural scene since the 19th century, guests converged in celebration of global culture, music, fashion, and design in a setting that reflected the Prada Eyewear bold perspective and DNA.
The focus on eyewear and the Symbole story perfectly matched the event’s artistic direction, creating a powerful synergy between product storytelling and the immersive musical atmosphere.
For the Berlin edition, the brand showcased a set from multi-award winning American singer, actor and producer Janelle Monáe, who performed an exclusive DJ set under her alter ego, DJ Johnny Jane. Known for her genre-defying artistry and creative leadership at Wondaland Arts Society, Monáe brought her signature style to Berlin’s nightlife scene.
Monáe’s set was accompanied by two DJs: Christian AB, whose eclectic electronic sets aim to break down musical boundaries and Channel Tres, who blends techno, house and West Coast rap in his distinct style.
The Sound of Prada Berlin was attended by guests including Kit Connor, Wolfram Eckert, Ncuti Gatwa, Prada Ambassador Benedetta Porcaroli, Prada Ambassador Troye Sivan, Clemens Schick, Lilith Stangenberg, Langston Uibel and Lisa Vicari — all contributing to an unforgettable night celebrating culture, connection and the evolving world of Prada Eyewear.
