Innovation Across the Portfolio

A dedicated area of the booth highlighted the latest advancements in lens technologies from Essilor, including Varilux Immersia, a new occupational lens designed to keep presbyopes comfortably immersed in their immediate surroundings; Crizal Natural Look, a breakthrough innovation redefining reflection color control; alongside Stellest Generation 2, Transitions Color Touch, Nikon, Galileo, and Shamir. Nearby, the frames and iconic brands universe came to life through immersive digital content featuring Ray-Ban, Oakley, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Vogue Eyewear, and other licensed brands.

Wearables also captured significant attention, with Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, and Nuance Audio showcasing the evolving possibilities of connected eyewear and the expanding role of smart devices in everyday life.

Beyond the main booth, EssilorLuxottica’s wearables innovation was featured in the Innovation and Hi-Tech area of The Lens of Time – The History of Eyewear in Italy, an ANFAO-promoted exhibition in Pavilion 6. The exhibition traces the evolution of eyewear as a symbol of Italian manufacturing excellence, creativity, and design culture. The inclusion of Oakley Meta Vanguard and Nuance Audio Glasses highlighted how connected eyewear is shaping the next chapter of Italian eyewear design and technology.

In the med-tech zone, visitors explored cutting-edge solutions from Essilor Instruments, Espansione Group, Heidelberg Engineering, RetinAI, and Cellview Imaging, while Satisloh welcomed guests at its dedicated external stand, offering an up-close look at its latest manufacturing innovations.

An area devoted to Leonardo and the Partnership Programs underscored the Company’s ongoing commitment to high-quality education and meaningful industry collaboration. It showcased partnership models and strategic initiatives designed to elevate professional expertise and drive shared innovation across the optical supply chain.

The experience culminated on January 31 with an exclusive after-MIDO event at the Tortona Experience Center in Milan. The invitation-only cocktail dinner brought together clients and partners for a special evening celebrating The Company’s participation in the fair, enriched by a performance from a popular Italian singer.
