EssilorLuxottica IT EyeCare demonstrates compliance with requirements for ISO27001 standards and controls of the ISO27701 guideline global standards in terms of information security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection and privacy information management.  

These certifications are issued for the design and development of eyecare software platforms and provision of ready-to-use solutions for local and remote optometry services through cloud-based eyecare software platforms.  

The Group continues to progress in the field of telemedicine by raising the standard of excellence once again. In collaboration with TÜV Italia srl, one of the most recognized and accredited certification bodies and a reference point for the sector, EssilorLuxottica has optimized its processes to meet the most stringent clinical data management criteria, offering its customers the most innovative and protected solutions in the telemedicine market. 

To celebrate this important achievement, on December 22, 2023, an event was held at its historic Agordo (Italy) plant dedicated to the official delivery of the certifications, which took place in the presence of Giorgio Striano, Chief Operating Officer of the Group; and - representing TÜV Italia - Francesco Scarlata, Business Assurance Division Manager; as well as Marco Scarpa Falce, Sales Area Manager North East Business Assurance Division.
