EssilorLuxottica Unveils Future of Vision at VivaTech 2025

Making a splash at the ninth edition of Viva Technology, the Company showcased its groundbreaking solutions, including Nuance Audio and Ray-Ban Meta, further solidifying its position at the forefront of technological innovation. 



Following its successful participation at CES in Las Vegas earlier this year, EssilorLuxottica proudly marked its debut at Viva Technology (VivaTech) 2025, held from June 11 to 14 in Paris. The event was a vibrant showcase of the latest technological advancements and brought together the brightest minds in technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It was an ideal platform for the Company to demonstrate its commitment to leading a technological revolution in eyewear. 


The 100 m² EssilorLuxottica stand was a hub of activity, where visitors as well as key French and international media had the chance to interact with dedicated teams and experience firsthand the Group’s latest innovations. Among the highlights were Nuance Audio, an invisible hearing solution ingeniously integrated into glasses, and Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses. Both products feature the Group’s ultra dynamic Transitions Gen S lenses, which empower everyday life in any light condition.   


A key moment at VivaTech was when EssilorLuxottica's Deputy CEO, Paul du Saillant, took to the stage for an insightful discussion titled 'Eyewear: a gateway to the future,' alongside Maurice Lévy, Founder of VivaTech and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe, the world's third largest communication group. As wearable technology enters a new era, their discussion highlighted the transformative potential of connected eyewear and how it is changing the way we experience and interact with the world, together with AI.  


Today, the wearables category is gaining real momentum and with Ray-Ban | Meta and Nuance Audio, EssilorLuxottica is shaping the future of eyewear while transforming it into a powerful gateway for people. Combining this with the Group’s Instruments business, it is building a holistic med-tech platform that goes beyond vision to encompass the broader spectrum of health, wellness and overall well-being. 


VivaTech offered another remarkable opportunity to position EssilorLuxottica among the most innovative and tech-forward companies globally. In addition, during the event, Fortune announced its list of Europe’s Most Innovative Companies, where EssilorLuxottica was ranked #13. The list recognizes the top 300 companies who are reinventing the future in unexpected ways.
