For this reason, we have developed a Code of Ethics, which sets forth the principles that apply to all EssilorLuxottica employees, contractors, vendors and suppliers, and govern the way we conduct our day-to-day business.
These principles represent the minimum set of standards that cannot be compromised. They cover aspects such as health and safety at work, diversity, the fair treatment of colleagues and business partners, environmental protection, and expressly agrees to the international labor standards (ILO standards), as well as the UN Global Compact Principles on Human Rights.
This document serves to complement the Codes of Ethics currently in force within Essilor and Luxottica respectively, establishing a unified standard of conduct for the entire Group.
